How might we invite kids to share their ideas? (Scavenger Hunt?)

One idea from participants, "Go on a scavenger hunt – have kiddos find or create a collection at home that they want to count."  What are your thoughts?

  1. I wonder if there are cute little scavenger hunt menus kids could make for family members? Find a square, rectangle, find a 3 dimensional rectangular shape....

What do you think about this idea?  Take turns counting the collection…take a picture of the first person’s count…the second person counts and leaves their collection out.  Compare the picture of the 1 st   count to the 2 nd   count.  What’s the same?  Different?  How could this work remotely?
